FastDry Technologies™

1.1 million damage cases due to tap water in Germany every year

Drying with conventional methods is often extremely time-consuming and not very efficient. Energy consumption and noise levels are relatively high, with some areas often drying faster than others.

FastDry™ - fast, energy-efficient drying process with uniform results

Compared to conventional drying methods, FastDry™ is a silent technology that saves energy and shortens drying times.

A FastDry™ drying module consists of an integrated heating unit and a permeable insulation layer. The side of the module containing the heating unit is mounted directly to the wet wall, which is then heated in a controlled manner via a thermostat. Heating the wall speeds up water evaporation, i.e. the drying process. The water vapor produced passes through the permeable thermal insulation layer and is released into the room. Water vapor also escapes via the other side of the wall if it is permeable.

The controlled temperature combined with the thermal insulation layer ensures an even temperature distribution. Furthermore, the insulation layer reduces energy losses and thus also cuts electricity costs. In this way, walls and ceilings are dried quickly in a quiet and energy-efficient process. Consequently, the FastDry™ technology not only meets the high demands of renovating firms and end-customers but also satisfies insurance companies’ aims to lower electricity costs.
