Weather Data

Climate data has been recorded at Fraunhofer IBP’s outdoor testing site in Holzkirchen since the beginning of the 1950s. The weather data is recorded using the IMEDAS Internet Measurement and Data Evaluation System and visualized in our online weather station. The key data shown includes the following:

  • Outdoor air temperature and humidity
  • Global, west and diffuse radiation
  • Normal and driving rain
  • Wind speed and direction
  • Air pressure
  • Soil temperature at different depths
  • Surface temperature on black and white surfaces
